How Can lower Back Pain Along With Pelvic Cramps Be Treated?

I am a 48 year old woman with lower back pain with pelvic cramping. I am having difficulty walking. Was not able to sleep last night due to lower abdominal cramps and lower back pain. Can it be my sciatica? Last menses was January 14. First time I skip a month (rather 52 days) took home pregnancy test and it was negative. Could these be symptoms of beginning menopause?

thanks for your query to hcm . as I understand you are presenting with mixed symptoms so I will proceed one by one. first pelvic pain could be sciatica , it could be due to compression of nerve in lower back .for this complaint you need to consult a orthopedic surgeon .
second abdominal cramp may be due to some gastric indigestion or infection of gut .you can take some antispasmodic drug like drotavarine and consult family physician.
missing of period at age of 48 could be considered as a sign of menopause .
I find this answer helpful
